PEDIATRIC COUNSELING SERVICES LLC

Stacey Munsie, LCSW

Stacey formed Pediatric Counseling Services in 2009 and has been so grateful for its growth and longevity. Stacey is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh for both her B.S. in Psychology and Master of Social Work degrees. She is licensed in PA as an LCSW. Prior to starting a private practice, she spent 11 years at the Child Development Unit of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and has experience in a variety of settings including inpatient, BHRS and outpatient clinical settings. She specializes in working with children with complex behavioral and emotional needs, ADHD, ASD, Anxiety, OCD, Tic Disorders/Tourette’s Syndrome, stress/family adjustment issues, selective mutism and anger/defiance. She enjoys learning about a child’s unique temperament style and how that affects their mood and behavior, family interaction patterns and overall coping skills. She helps children and families develop an awareness of their own patterns and learn self regulation strategies through a CBT framework. She is a mother of two boys who understands both the joys and the challenges of being a parent. Her hobbies including walking/playing with her dogs, running, Legos, puzzles and gardening.

Holly Bronder, LCSW

Holly Bronder, LCSW is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work. She uses evidence-based treatment methods in her work with children and adolescents, with a collaborative approach to meet the needs and goals of the individual. Holly specializes in treating anxiety and has experience with perfectionism, disordered eating, tics, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and mood/adjustment issues as well. Prior to joining Pediatric Counseling Services in 2013, she worked as therapist at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic's Pediatric OCD Program and Center for Children and Families.

Jessica Haskins, LCSW, CCTP

Jessica Haskins, LCSW, CCTP is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Jessica has close to 20 years of experience providing mental health treatment in the outpatient and school settings. Jessica has additional training and certifications in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, and Depressive Disorders. Jessica is certified in trauma informed care using research driven interventions for body regulation and mindfulness skills.  Jessica has extensive training  and experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well. Jessica believes in providing support for the family system through coaching and behavioral interventions for parents and caregivers. Jessica provides treatment for both children and adults through strength based interventions and short-term goals to help clients find their own self-determination and successful path to healing.

Emily Sarazen, LPC

Emily Sarazen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Duquesne University and completed her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Chatham University.  Emily provides individual therapy to children, teens, and adults. Emily also offers family therapy and involves parents in the therapeutic process for children and teens.  Emily’s style of therapy stems from Gestalt and Family Systems Theories.  Emily utilizes techniques drawn from Gestalt play therapy, mindfulness based therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.  Emily specializes in supporting individuals with Anxiety, OCD, Depression, ADHD, and Autism.  Emily offers support to families experiencing stress from separation/divorce, history of abuse/neglect, and families in need of help navigating challenging behaviors, such as verbal and physical aggression and self-harming behaviors.  Emily is also supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.  Emily seeks to help individuals understand themselves better and enjoy being who they are in an accepting and loving way.

Angela Vincent, LPC

Angela Vincent is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.  She has undergraduate degrees in Theatre as well as Sociology & Anthropology from West Virginia University, and had a career in arts education prior to becoming a counselor.  Angela has experience working with school age children, adolescents, adults and families for over the past decade at Pediatric Counseling Services. She is also employed at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh at the Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic.  Previously, Angela worked as an MST Therapist at Mars Home for Youth, as a Psychology Associate in the departments of Adolescent Medicine and Weight Management & Wellness Center at Children's Hospital, and as an outpatient provider for Samaritan Counseling Center.  She uses an eclectic approach to therapy and focuses on building a relationship with her clients, with listening and understanding at the forefront of treatment.

Jessica Walko-Rimkus, LPC

Jessica Walko-Rimkus received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and in Development & Family Relationships. She completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Chatham University. Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. She has experience in providing individual and family therapy previously at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Adolescent Medicine department. She has also previously gained experience providing treatment at Family Links working as a Family Based therapist, School Based Therapist, Mobile Therapist and Outpatient therapist. She has expertise working with children and families who experience anxiety, depression/mood issues, family relationship issues, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, low self-esteem, school issues, adjustment/stress, anger management concerns, divorce/separation and grief and loss.

Kacy Ruffin, LPC

With a background in psychology and school counseling from Duquesne University, Kacy is a  Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC), She has extensive experience in both private practice, school based counseling and charter/cyber educational settings. Empowering young people to navigate life's challenges with resilience and authenticity, Kacy has a steadfast commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where growth and healing can flourish.Kacy demonstrates empathy and compassion, emphasizing the significance of cultural awareness and trauma-sensitive care. She is deeply committed to advocacy, integrating it into her professional endeavors. Kacy aims to cultivate an inviting atmosphere that encourages collaboration and openness, allowing space for exploration and curiosity. Approaching her clients from a perspective that highlights their strengths, she endeavors to meet them where they are and honor their individual experiences. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, self-esteem and identity, managing emotions, addressing perfectionism, and life transitions.

Sarah Baker, LPC, ATR

Sarah Baker is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist with a master’s degree in art therapy, with a specialization in counseling from Seton Hill University.

She has experience in outpatient, Early Childhood Intensive Behavioral Health (IBHS), and inpatient medical settings, working with children and adolescents aged 3-18. Sarah helps clients with emotional regulation, self-esteem, anxiety, separation anxiety, and grief. She uses a person-centered approach, customizing her methods to fit each client's needs.

In her sessions, Sarah combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, strength-based, and art therapy techniques. She encourages creative art-making to help clients process emotions, develop coping skills, and address issues in a supportive and empathetic environment. Art therapy, which requires no prior art experience, can enhance self-expression and personal growth.
